Seneca’s bachelor degree programs offer articulation opportunities for students in many diploma programs. Admission criteria vary with each program. Transfer credit will depend upon diploma program, grades, and academic course content.

Seneca Program: Computer Programmer

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Technology, Software Development

CPD graduates with a GPA of 2.8 are eligible for direct entry into the second year of the program (semester 4), and will be able to graduate with a degree after approximately five more semesters of study. Seneca Program: Computer Engineering Technology - (Optional Co-op), Computer Programming and Analysis, Computer Systems Technology

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Technology, Software Development

Graduates with a GPA of 2.7 are eligible for direct entry into this program. CPA students are eligible to begin in semester 5 while CST and CET students may begin in semester 3.

Seneca Program: Computer Networking and Technical Support, Computer Programmer

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Technology, Informatics and Security

CNS/CPD graduates with a GPA of 2.8 will be eligible for entry into the second year of the program, and will be able to graduate with a degree after approximately six more semesters of study. Please note that these plans are subject to change.

Seneca Program: Computer Programming and Analysis, Computer Systems Technology

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Technology, Informatics and Security

Seneca Program: Computer Engineering Technology - (Optional Co-op), Electronics Engineering Technology - Communications - (Optional Co-op), Electronics Engineering Technology - Control Systems - (Optional Co-op)

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Technology, Control Systems Technology

Students who have successfully completed any of these Seneca diplomas with a minimum 3.0 GPA, may be considered for admission to this degree program. Transfer credit will be assessed on an individual basis. Computer Engineering Technology students may qualify for admission into bridging courses for this degree while still completing their diploma.

Seneca Program: Early Childhood Education

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Arts, Child Development

Students who successfully complete this diploma with a minimum 3.0 GPA, may be considered for admission into the 4th semester of this program, and may then complete the degree in 5 semesters. For more information please contact Diane Kashin, Program Coordinator at 416.491.5050 x5454.

Seneca Program: Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Payroll, Accounting, Business - Insurance, Business - Marketing, Business Administration - Accounting & Financial Planning, Business Administration - Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Business Administration - Financial Planning, Business Administration - Human Resources, Business Administration - Information Systems, Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Purchasing and Supply Management, Business Administration - Retail Management, International Business Administration, International Business, Public Administration - Municipal

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Business, Financial Services Management

Students who have completed at least one semester of study in any of these Seneca business diploma programs may be eligible for entry into the first semester of the Financial Services Management 4 year degree program. Students who have successfully completed 2 semesters or more of  a business diploma program may be eligible for transfer credit and entry into 2nd, 3rd, or 4th semester of the degree program depending on grade point average and the number of semesters completed. Seneca Program: Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Payroll, Accounting, Business - Insurance, Business - Marketing, Business Administration - Accounting & Financial Planning, Business Administration - Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Business Administration - Financial Planning, Business Administration - Human Resources, Business Administration - Information Systems, Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Purchasing and Supply Management, Business Administration - Retail Management, General Business, International Business Administration, International Business, Liberal Arts

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Business, Municipal and Corporate Administration

Consideration will be given for block transfer credit to students who have completed any of the above Seneca business diploma programs. Graduates of the Business Administration – Human Resources program can complete this degree within 2 years. Graduates from other Seneca diploma programs will also be considered. Degree: Bachelor of Applied Business, International Accounting and Finance

Students who have completed at least one semester of study in any Seneca 2 or 3 year diploma program may be eligible for entry into the first semester of the International Accounting and Finance 4 year degree program. Students who have successfully completed 2 semesters or more of any Seneca business diploma program may be eligible for transfer credit and entry into 2nd, 3rd, or 4th semester of the degree program depending on grade point average and the number of semesters completed. Students who have completed a 2 year Seneca Accounting diploma program may be eligible for admission to the 3rd semester (second year) of the degree program. Students who have successfully completed a 3 year Seneca Accounting diploma program may be eligible for the 5th semester (third year) of the degree program. Students who have completed the Accounting and Information Technology Graduate Certificate program may be eligible for the 7th semester (4th year) of the degree program. Seneca Program: Environmental Technology

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Technology, Environmental Site Remediation

Graduates of this 3 year diploma program are eligible for a bridging program to gain access to the 3rd year of Seneca’s Environmental Site Remediation Bachelor of Applied Technology degree. Seneca Program: Aviation and Flight Technology

Degree: Bachelor of Applied Technology, Flight

Degree: Collaborative BScN Degree program with York University
