Upon completion of the RESIP Program participants will be supported by a job developer. Participants are also eligible for a potential 8 week unpaid job placement in their field. This is a win-win situation as the participant gains valuable Canadian experience while the placement host gains a qualified individual to assist in their business.

A free of charge program that matches a job-ready skilled immigrant (the mentee) to his/her established professional counterpart (mentor) to enable a mentee to gain insight and guidance regarding his/her employment goal. A mentor is a qualified employed or self-employed individual with at least three years experience in a specific profession. The mentor will describe links to professional associations and business networks. He/she will give career coaching, share knowledge of current labour market demands, context, trends and the required skills/competencies necessary for a specific profession and/or position.
To participate you must be:
- legally entitled to work in Canada;
- an internationally-trained professional living in
- have worked in your profession outside of
- currently unemployed or underemployed (working 20 hours or less per week);
- job-ready and have Canadian Language Benchmark level 8 or higher in oral English.
